What can you recycle in your Green Box?

All types of paper - except Yellow Pages and hard back books. Shredded paper should be taken to your nearest paper bank. All colours of glass - bottles and jars, no broken glass or sheet glass. Plastic bottles - no film or tubs. Cans - food and drinks cans. Clothes and shoes - good quality for charity, place in a separate carrier bag. Aluminium foil - clean foil, no crisp packets. Batteries - place domestic batteries in a bag, place car batteries next to your Green Box. Aerosols - all aerosol cans. Mobile phones - proceeds in support of the Children's Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. All materials should be clean with any caps or closures removed.  Boxes should be out at the kerbside by 7 a.m. on the day of collection.
